MANAGING GENERAL COUNSEL

What do you enjoy most about our law practice?

Rick enjoys helping clients and solving their tough issues. He also appreciates the opportunity to participate in the growth and development of MosterWynne. Rick is passionate about finding the right way to serve each client situation and has an unwavering standard for fairness. Rick strives to learn each day how the firm can better serve our clients with the highest standards in a small firm setting.

How do you express your creativity?

Rick believes that creativity is a state of mind that you bring to everything you do, whether you are raising children, solving legal issues or performing music. Rick is passionate about his family, travel, reading and music. He is also an avid life-time learner, pursuing his college interests in economics, mathematics and physics.

How are you entrepreneurial?

After many years of mainstream legal practice, Rick took a position as general counsel to an “incubator” company capitalizing on the market’s appetite for new technology companies. He learned a lot about start-up businesses and enjoyed the experience. In 2006, Rick joined MosterWynne and subsequently invested in the firm’s efforts to further develop its general counsel model.

What are your dreams?

Rick wants to make a real positive difference in the world. How that impact is defined and measured is different for each situation but the commitment is not.

How do you apply your creativity and passion to MosterWynne and our clients?

Rick seeks to produce solutions for our clients that improve on the obvious result. He empathizes with business owners and executives because he has faced the same issues. His goal is to meld the quality product of traditional high end legal practice with the focus on customer needs of all successful businesses.
