What do you enjoy most about our law practice?

Matt enjoys meeting and working with our creative inventors and the challenge of translating their creativity into formal language. He also enjoys helping find the business case for a particular technology, as well as presenting persuasive legal arguments in his dealings with the Patent and Trademark Office.

How do you express your creativity?

Matt loves music and is an enthusiastic participant in Austin’s live music scene. He also enjoys console and online video gaming and tries to keep up with that dynamic and burgeoning industry. One of his great pleasures is spending time with friends having engaging discussions! He also enjoys singing and has sung in church choirs in Dallas and Austin.

How are you entrepreneurial?

Matt has great admiration for entrepreneurs because he has been trying for years to get a screenplay produced so he knows how hard it can be to get other people to share your dream. This inspires him to go the extra measure to be an effective advocate for our clients. Matt wrote a video game screenplay for a Role Playing Game and is developing a demo to present to publishers. The screenplay is an adaptation of the Ramayana, an ancient Hindu myth that informs the cosmology of Hinduism and Buddhism.

What are your dreams?

One of Matt’s dreams is to take advantage of his opportunities at MosterWynne to help the firm create a new way of practicing law. So often, impersonal law firms stifle growth and creativity. MosterWynne is finding a way to practice law that fosters the personal and professional growth of its attorneys and clients.

How do you apply your creativity and passion to MosterWynne and our clients? 

Matt uses his creativity and passion to find solutions to difficult, even intractable, problems. He appreciates that MosterWynne is not afraid to break the mold when it comes to serving its clients. An aspect of Matt’s creativity is seeing surprising relationships between things that might seem unrelated. This is a useful talent for a lawyer and reflects the MosterWynne culture of encouraging unconventional thinking on behalf of our clients.
