Richard J. Ressler

MANAGING GENERAL COUNSEL

Mr. Ressler is a premier corporate and securities attorney. Mr. Ressler brings to the firm his broad experience as an attorney with two internationally recognized law firms and as general counsel to several public and private companies. Mr. Ressler joined the firm to apply his experience and knowledge to grow the firm’s client companies.  

Shari A. Wynne

CEO + MANAGING PARTNER

Ms. Wynne is the co-founder and manager of MWR Legal.  Prior to starting the firm, Ms. Wynne worked for the Department of Labor and two internationally recognized law firms as an ERISA/employee benefits attorney. Ms. Wynne started the firm because she wanted to serve all clients with the same zeal and intelligence that serves the largest clients in the world.

Stuart H. Baggish

SENIOR COUNSEL

Mr. Baggish is a highly experienced litigation and corporate attorney, having represented Fortune 500 companies in disputes ranging from class action lawsuits to trade secret infringement and international securities fraud.  In his spare time, Mr. Baggish teaches Business Law courses at the University of Texas McCombs School of Business and is den leader for his son's cub scout pack.

Matthew E. Burr

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY COUNSEL

Mr. Burr brings his intellectual property (IP) legal and business experience to the firm. He is a registered patent attorney who helps our clients grow by identifying, writing applications and commercializing the value of their intellectual property. Mr. Burr is a leader in technology transfer issues and speaks and writes for the firm on intellectual property matters.

Melanie J. Cogburn

LITIGATION + CORPORATE COUNSEL

Ms. Cogburn joined MWR Legal to provide senior litigation and corporate support for our clients. Prior to working for MosterWynne, she worked as counsel at a respected Texas firm, specializing in business litigation in state and federal courts. Ms. Cogburn's first position was as staff attorney for the Honorable Judge John. K. Dietz, currently the presiding judge for Travis County District Courts.

Racy H. Gordon

SENIOR COUNSEL

Ms. Gordon concentrates her practice in the areas of commercial and residential real estate transactions, as well as real estate litigation, construction law, commercial litigation, title work, and select employment law cases.  Ms. Gordon owned and operated her own successful real estate brokerage practice prior to being licensed as an attorney in the State of Texas, and brings experience not only as an aggressive litigator and thoughtful attorney, but also as a successful and serial entrepreneur.

Kenneth M. Krasny

TAX COUNSEL

Mr. Krasny is an experienced tax, corporate, and transactional attorney.  He brings over 30 years experience in accounting, finance, and law, and he possesses extensive domestic and international experience in leading, developing, and structuring projects in all aspects, with a particular focus on structured finance, planning, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and tax controversies.

Dustin R. Thompson

OF COUNSEL

Dustin "Dusty" R. Thompson comes to MWR Legal with extensive hands-on business and legal experience.  Most recently, Mr. Thompson served as both corporate general counsel and director of a regional office in Austin for a leading multifamily real estate investment and construction services company.  Prior to his tenure as GC, Mr. Thompson was a senior associate at an Atlanta boutique law firm, where he successfully resolved numerous complex business situations.  Mr. Thompson's business background combined with his legal talents provides a wealth of resources for the clients of MWR Legal.

Charles A. Moster

CO-FOUNDER + LITIGATION CHAIR EMERITUS

Mr. Moster is a seasoned strategist, litigator, and creative entrepreneur as well as co-founder of the firm.  Prior to starting the firm, Mr. Moster was a partner in a prestigious firm on Connecticut Avenue in Washington D.C. where he successfully litigated against large and small companies and handled creditor and debtor bankruptcy proceedings.  Mr. Moster retired from MWR Legal to pursue his theater career and has since opened a solo firm in Lubbock, Texas.  Mr. Moster is available to work with the MWR Legal team on litigation and bankruptcy issues.

Christopher A. Choate

MARKETING + CLIENT DEVELOPMENT

Mr. Choate is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, and was previously employed designing websites and developing search strategy for a network of small Texas businesses.  Mr. Choate ensures that MWR Legal maintains a presence in the Central Texas entrepreneurial community, and also acts as client liaison for MWR Legal clients.

David A. Loy

CASE MANAGER

Mr. Loy became a member of MWR Legal after graduating from The University of Texas. Mr. Loy is an accomplished craftsman and spent a decade honing his skills before returning to school to graduate with a degree in Philosophy. Mr. Loy chose the firm for his first job in the legal field after winning a Kaplan LSAT preparatory course.

Adam B. Frishman

ENTREPRENEUR CONSULTANT

Mr. Frishman joined MosterWynne after selling a company and graduating from the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin. He was attracted to the opportunity to help grow and develop the firm, and his unique business strategy position has developed into a serious value-add role for our clients.

Sheryl D. Beardsley

CFO CONSULTANT

Ms. Beardsley served as the Firm Administrator for more than ten years, helping to create knowledge systems and implement technology that allowed the firm to take advantage of opportunities for growth and improvement.  Ms. Beardsley now works alongside Ms. Wynne in a senior position where she creates financial models that clients and the firm use to enhance predictability and recognize business trends.
