Adam enjoys helping clients realize what a tremendous tool the law can be if used proactively. He is fond of saying that the law is a “backstage pass to business” where you get to see what works and what doesn’t for companies of all shapes and sizes. It is rewarding for Adam to share that insight and knowledge to help clients avoid the pitfalls and seize the opportunities they face. Adam considers it a form of creativity and vision to take complex, intense situations and figure out the patterns and how to organize them in more logical, actionable pieces. Whether in the office or on the soccer field, he enjoys controlled chaos. Adam loves soccer and he plays on and manages a Premier Division Men’s League team. With soccer, there are basic rules but the game's heroes are celebrated for their creativity and spontaneity within those boundaries. Often, the outcome of 90 minutes is decided by a single move and you have to be both forward-thinking and able to block out everything and live in the moment. Adam believes that being an entrepreneur is a way of thinking and viewing the world. While he has had success starting and selling a company prior to joining the firm, and has started another booming business with his wife, he thinks entrepreneurialism comes in different shades. For some, it means knowing when and how to take the right risks – the creation of a new company or a new division, entering a new market, or even creating a new market. He also makes it a point to motivate and encourage those around him. Adam thinks the best entrepreneurs know that success means helping their clients, partners and employees build companies or play roles that feed and foster their own passions. Adam wants to be a good husband, father, friend, brother and son. He also has a genuine desire to help build organizations – companies, non-profits, sports and dance organizations, PTA groups, etc – that are sustainable and profitable. Adam gets excited about the vision and building process and thinks it is a shame that so many good ideas wither because they do not have the right mental and financial nourishment. Adam wants to be in a position where he can consistently help by offering his experience, talents, humility and enthusiasm. Adam is passionate about helping people and his role in the firm has evolved because he has a unique perspective to offer to clients. His experience as an entrepreneur, as a business manager, as an investor, as a listener, as an advisor, and as the middle child in his family allows Adam to suggest ideas that incorporate 'best practices’ but sometimes throw them out the window. The law can be intimidating because it is complex, because it is not always practical or fair, and because many people who know how to best utilize it have also been burned by it and are skeptical. However, Adam maintains the law can also be a great way to anticipate and/or solve problems strategically, and that a creative perspective on the law can be a competitive advantage. Adam Frishman
