We Give Back to Our Community

One of the founding principles at MosterWynne is to be "in service" as a good employer and member of the Austin community. The firm is passionate about working with our clients, and this passion is carried to our pro-bono and non-billable work for our clients, employees and community. We also work with individuals and charities to create non-profit entities and offer general counsel legal services.

Heartbeat Missions
The firm helped create Heartbeat Missions whose broad goal is to provide a wide range of services to low or no-income citizens. This includes hot and canned food, clothing, and educational and vocational training to help its members re-enter the workforce and society. 100% of the money raised through fundraising and donations is put towards the company’s initiatives.

Hound Rescue
MosterWynne helped secure non-profit status for this local no-kill animal shelter. Charles Moster, the firm’s Senior Partner, is the proud parent of a Beagle because of Hound Rescue’s mission. In addition to continuing its role as legal counsel, whenever possible the firm helps connect loving dogs with loving homes.

SAM for Kids 
The Sandra A. Moster Foundation is a non-profit organization inspired by the memory of Sandy Moster. SAM for Kids carries on her mission to eliminate smoking by educating children about its harmful effects. Through the Adventures of Mighty Sam, a strong anti-smoking message is presented in an entertaining, informative format designed to instill positive health values and habits.

BiG Austin
Business Investment Growth, or BiG Austin, helps small businesses successfully grow by providing comprehensive education, tailored business counseling and flexible loans. MosterWynne is an advocate for small businesses and assisted in the creation and presentation of programming that educated business owners on the legal issues they might face in the early years of operations. The firm donates its knowledge when drafting specific content, and attends events as guest speakers.

Business Success Center
The mission of the Business Success Center is to provide owners with an individualized guide to success through a virtual incubator program, the BSC Hatchery. The goal is to move existing businesses to the next level, so owners get a business that is stable, profitable, predictable and transferable. The firm offers its knowledge by creating presentations and then serving as guest speakers at events.

Inez Clift's Friendship Club
The firm created the Frienship Club for a mother whose children had to be placed in private schools because of the torment they faced at school from other children. The Club went into schools to tackle head-on the issue of bullying, and to promote and teach the use of non-violent resolution between children.

MosterWynne Staff
The firm has a wealth of knowledge to share with the community, including its own employees. The firm strives to be a compassionate and fair employer, and regularly provides legal assistance to its non-attorney staff when they face issues.
