MosterWynne celebrates our 12th anniversary November 2008! Our law firm consultancy model continues to develop alongside our clients’ companies. We stand ready to assist you with the opportunities and challenges that we all face as we move into next year.

We are proud of our accomplishments this year. Most importantly, we provided excellent client service resulting in (among others) 20 new companies, 3 capital raises, more than a dozen issued trademarks, 4 secured patents (and even more filed), and several major disputes settled or avoided altogether! We also launched our new website, created significant relationships while serving our Austin Community, and systemized and streamlined our firm to prepare for our next stage of growth.

Fast 50 Advisory Board

We are the legal and business consultants for the Fast 50 Advisory Board, sponsored by the Austin Business Journal. The Fast 50 Board advises emerging business owners on key issues for growth. Our Managing Partner Shari Wynne serves as co-chair of the Board and has joined chair Ron Kessler, the Board members, and the ABJ in offering leadership to the Austin entrepreneurial community. General Counsel Program & Consulting

We spend our time working with clients on their legal and business issues and we are always looking for creative ways to approach them. We regularly invite clients to complimentary “General Counsel meetings” because we like investing the time to get to know you and your business. We want to be accessible and these meetings are great brainstorming sessions and a chance to look at short-term and big-picture strategies. Advertising Federation Board

We are actively involved with supporting the Austin creative services community, and this summer Charles Moster was invited to serve on the Executive Board of the Ad Fed. Charles advises on legal and legislative updates and educates members on legal and business issues attendant to their industry, including intellectual property identification and protection. Raising Investment Capital

We know that having sufficient cash is a major hurdle for companies of all sizes during their growth process. We have helped clients access and negotiate for outside capital upwards of $2M from various sources. Launch of New Website & Blog!

We are particularly proud of our new website... which only took ten years to update! We designed it to be user-friendly and full of great information to reflect the similar relationship we strive for with our clients. Speaking & Publications

We had the privilege to educate our community by publishing several articles and speaking at multiple organizations on topics ranging from Legal Self Defense for Entrepreneurs to Building a High Performance Team and Can Green = Gr$$n? Charles Moster was honored by Texas Bar Journal, the prestigious monthly publication of the Texas State Bar, when he was asked to submit an article on “Protecting the Business of Creativity”. Charles is our Senior Partner and Senior Litigator but is also actively involved in numerous creative projects which complement the firm’s intellectual property practice. Creative & Community Endeavors

We are involved in the creative community in many ways. Adam Frishman serves on the board of American Repertory Ensemble, and in addition to ARE Adam and his wife successfully opened a dance studio called Dance Xplosion which is already expanding in January 2009. As many of you know, Charles Moster has had several of his radio musical plays produced and aired by National Public Radio. The latest is a musical parody of White Christmas based on Chanukah called Happy ChollaDay! and it airs on Sunday, December 21st at 7pm. Be on the lookout for an invitation to the broadcast party for Charlie’s next performance. We co-founded and are a member of the AIBC, catering to business owners, managers, and investors with a prominent international element to their current or planned businesses.
